Members of the city's Community Police Commission want to know why Interim Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best wasn't chosen as one of three finalists for the chief's job. They've asked for records from the mayor's office, and want the City Council to hold off on any confirmation of a final choice so they have a chance to provide meaningful feedback.
