Connelly: Dave Barrett, Seattle U. grad who became B.C. premier, dies at 87

Former British Columbia Premier Dave Barrett is dead at 87.  He was a graduate of Seattle University, a onetime Seattle P-I newsboy, a social worker, and the first socialist premier of the province.
